Words To Live By

Going through of my reflective phases, I have a list of quotes which I try to live by. I feel it’s my duty at the moment to share some of the quotes that I heed most:

“I don’t know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everybody.” -Bill Cosby

“Change has a considerable psychological impact on the human mind. To the fearful it is threatening because it means that things may get worse. To the hopeful it is encouraging because things may get better. To the confident it is inspiring because the challenge exists to make things better. “- King Whitney Jr.

“There is nothing like returning to a place that remains unchanged to find the ways in which you yourself have altered.”- Nelson Mandela

“Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” -Albert Einstein

“Don’t give up, don’t ever give up” – Jim Valvano

“Intellectual growth should commence at birth and cease only at death” – Albert Einstein

“Nobody can hurt me without my permission.” – Mahatma Gandhi

“The Roots of Violence: Wealth without work, Pleasure without conscience, Knowledge without character, Commerce without morality, Science without humanity, Worship without sacrifice, Politics without principles” – Mahatma Gandhi

And just a random one from a good friend of mine

“My friend pointed out that me choosing employment over baseball is what makes us different from Boston fans … well that, and 20 championships.”
